After an unprecedented nuclear war, humanity is forced to face multiple changes. The whole world is devastated and affected by radiation. Thus, to mitigate its multiple problems, it is forced to evolve and to resort to body improvements. It is in this devastated world that our story takes place, in 2150. The survivors are mainly gathered in 3 clans, around 3 territories: Russia, China and Mongolia...
Very soon after the apocalypse, the Mongolian people were annexed by Russia. The Russian population having been mostly decimated, the Russians would have kidnapped Mongolians in order to practice transhumanist experiments on them. In this way, Mongolia, which was formerly nomadic, would have been forced to modify their bodies...
To try to survive and escape the domination of the Russians, the Mongols would have tried to make illegal trade with China. They would have sold experimental technologies, those made on them as well as multiple resources that they possess. However China would have turned against them and would not have given them the expected counterpart. Since that day, there are tensions between Mongolia and China. From these conflicts would be born a war between the 3 surviving peoples.
Mongolia would then have become suspicious and reclusive of all other peoples. Only a few warriors and explorers went on mission to China to try to steal military supplies.
To adapt to the hostile environment, the last surviving clans of humanity must radically change their way of life.
Arsla Neer is a member of the nomadic Salkhi tribe. This 10 year old child is particularly sensitive to his environment, which makes him an excellent hunter. He is assisted by Mika, his peregrine falcon, with whom he communicates through an electronic collar. Arsla is able to contact his spirit and see through his eyes.
Born with a normally fatal heart defect, his parents traded their freedom for Russian scientists to implant an artificial heart.
Arsla keeps a piece of metal torn from the Russian agents' robotic prostheses, and turns it into a dagger, which is now his hunting tool, and symbol of his grudge.
